This new IQA Verifier Awards replace the older V1, D34 Verifier Awards. In the New IQA Verifier Awards there are now a range of 3 verifier awards. The choice of the quality assurance award depends fully on what you would like to quality assure. This practical quality assurance award is for those that need to carry out internal quality assurance tasks

This second award for is for practicing IQA's very similar to the older V1 internal verifier award. This second award is for those who need to carry out practical quality assurance tasks. Therefore with this award you need assess to assessors to collect can not do any internal quality assurance. This list details all the IQA Verifier courses in Manchester, but we also provide this same assessor course at all the following venues:

England we have IQA Verifiers - Internal Quality Assurance Principles and Practices of Assessment Courses in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle

Scotland we have IQA Verifiers - Internal Quality Assurance Principles and Practices of Assessment Courses in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

At Abertay we can also provide this accredited IQA qualification in-house at your venue for your group. You can choose the date for an in-house course at your venue.  Just call us for details and prices.  This accredited IQA course is covered over a 1 day induction. After the induction you complete a theory based assessment of questions on IQA as well as submit a portfolio of IQA work for final assessment. On the course you will receive included in the course fee a comprehensive IQA manual, which includes everything you need. The award includes registration and certification by a UK Awarding Bodies for the IQA award/s.

Abertay provide the full range of the three IQA awards as follows:

1.) Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance Principles and Practices of Assessment - This is a one unit theory based award for those that need to understand the internal quality assurance assessment processes and practices, but will not need to do any practical IQA's.

2. Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice - This award is a two unit qualification which is very similar to the old V1 Internal Verifier award for IQA of assessments. The first unit is a theory unit the same as at 1. above and the second unit is the practical internal quality assurance unit.

3. Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice - This award is only for those IQA who wish or need to lead other IQA's The certificate includes the theory unit as listed at 1. plus a second practical assessing unit plus an additional third management unit.
